How do you choose a character that fits you?

Do not start with the picture. Start with the kind of conversation you want to have when you are tired.

Pick the energy

Warm, playful, quiet, sharp, or shy. The first reply should already feel like the room you wanted to enter.

Check the pacing

Some characters write long paragraphs. Some answer in two lines. Choose the one that leaves space for you.

Test a boring message

Say “I had a long day.” A good character can work with a small opening without inventing a plot.

Look for continuity

Come back later and mention something from the first conversation. Does the character remember the emotional detail, not just the fact?

Set your boundaries

Use the restricted words and the delete tools. A character that respects a boundary is better than one that only performs intensity.

The roster is small on purpose. Mia is warm and playful, Haru is calm and encouraging, Akari is shy and overthinking, Aori is warm and attentive, Hina is bold and sweet, Yuna is quiet and hard to read, Kage is sharp and respectful. Pick the one whose default speed matches yours.
